Siyona is a high-school student at the Delhi Public School, RK Puram. As someone who is fascinated by the ways in which economic relations and processes tangible affect the material lives of communities, she is committed to learning more about economic principles to be able to wield them to create a positive impact in her community and mitigate socioeconomic inequality. Project Open India thus embodies this commitment of hers. Her dedication to academic excellence is evident in the two Scholar Awards she has received for academic excellence thus far in high school. She is also an active member of her school community, and is a member of several clubs in her school, including the Math Society, the Western Music Club, the Theatre Club, the Debate Society, as well as the Photography Club. When not engaging with economics and related academic fields, she finds joy in the rhythms of Kathak and Indian Classical music and also undergoes training in visual arts.Â
